Portchester Gala 2019 

Thank you to all the volunteers who supported this event and to the local traders and residents who gave the prizes for the raffle. AG Stapleford and Sons for printing the programs, the stall holders and arena participants, the parade entrants, Wicor School, English Heritage for allowing us to use the Castle Grounds and all the people who came and enjoyed the day.

Without you all, this event would not take place as we receive no funding at all, so we need every penny to run the Gala again in 2020. If you would like to sponsor the Gala in some way please come in and ask to speak to the Manager or e-mail: admin@portchesterca.org.uk

A very big ‘Thank you’ to everyone who braved the wind and rain and came along and joined in . 

A first for this year our Fun Dog Show organised by Canine Communications. We hope you all enjoyed the event, a total of 79 entrants took to the ring on the day. Congratulations to Paul Bromley and his 10 year old Boxer cross, Stanley, winner of Best in Show, and congratulations to all the other winners along the way.   We look forward to seeing you all and your dog’s again at next year’s Portchester Gala for an even bigger and better Fun Dog Show. 

Also new for this year were Top Banana Circus, who passed on their skills to those willing to “have a go”and learn something new,  we hope you enjoyed this attraction and hope to see them again next year!
