A message from Nick Hall, Chairman of Portchester Petanque Club

‘Portchester Petanque Club was set up in 1988 and currently has over 80 members.  The aim was to create a group  to pursue the game of Pétanque. We think we run a club open to anyone, with no restrictions and from my point of view a great social meeting point.

All ages are welcome, including those with mobility or health limitations .In addition each week we run sessions for children from age 5yrs upwards with the same objective of encouraging more interest in the game.  We are building a good group of people from all age groups who meet regularly. A great opportunity for old and young to meet and learn to get on together.

We welcome visitors and guests to our regular playing sessions so why not come along and have a go.’

Sessions for children are FREE to encourage an interest in this non-contact, outdoor game. They are led by a qualified Petanque England coach and all helpers are DBS checked.
